TISPOL has released its 2015 Annual Report, which measures the organisation against the clear criteria set out in its three year strategic plan published in January 2015.
Commenting on the Annual Report and on TISPOL's achievements in 2015, TISPOL President Aidan Reid said: "I am proud of the excellent contribution made by all our member countries towards our clear goals of reducing death, injury and crime on the roads, and helping to make the communities of Europe safer and more secure. This has been reflected in the consistently high levels of support for our road safety enforcement operation weeks.
"We all know that there have been obstacles to overcome, but our commitment to sharing experience, results, new ideas and technologies means we have continued to make progress. As a result, everyone in TISPOL can be proud of our efforts in 2015 to deliver a safer European road network for all users, a more secure environment where crime is reduced, effective partnerships across the public and private sectors and a leaner, more efficient organisational and financial structure."
