An Egyptian national who attacked a traffic police officer in the Maltese town of Floriana during the Isle of MTV concert has been sentenced to 11 months imprisonment. Tamer Mohamed Hussein Rozik was also ordered to pay a fine of €5,000 fine and €1,759.04 in damages.

Europol has supported UK and Dutch law enforcement authorities in a weeklong operation to tackle criminality across the UK and The Netherlands through national roads policing.
Operation Trivium 4 ran simultaneously in various locations in England, Wales and The Netherlands. It targeted foreign national offenders who utilise the road networks, as well as human trafficking, organised property crime and drugs trafficking.
