Police across the UK are once again cracking down on foreign criminals using the roads. As part of Operation Trivium 7 taking place from Monday 21 to Friday 25 November, officers will be stopping vehicles and checking drivers' details with the purpose of dealing a major blow to mobile criminality across Europe.
Trivium 7 follows the highly successful Trivium 6, which took place in May 2016. During the five days of Trivium 6, the following results were achieved:
We're pleased to be in Croatia for a road safety seminar to be held in Zagreb. The event, organised jointly with the European Transport Safety Council, sits within the two-year STRIDER Project (1 March 2015 to 28 February 2017.
STRIDER aims to reduce the number of people killed and seriously injured on Europe’s roads, as well as promoting efficient cross border co-operation between European Member States concerning the enforcement of traffic rules and the sharing of good practice with traffic police forces across Europe.
